Meet the Coaches

Josh

I am the Head Coach of LFTC U16s and have been coaching at LFTC since November 2023 and have enjoyed every moment of it so far. I have been coaching for the last 6 years and predominately in the boys grassroots game. I’ve spent the majority of my coaching journey so far with Victoria Park Youth (boys) who are based in Hackney. I coached the U14s, U15s, U16s, U17s in the Eco Premier League and our former Men’s Team (Victoria Park Football Club 1985) In the Hackney and Leyton Football League for the 22/23 season.Venturing into the Girls development pathway at LFTC is really exciting for me as I know I can really develop further as a coach here whilst gaining more UEFA Qualifications to better improve my players and help them reach the heights that we know that they are capable of.

Yas

UEFA A Licenced Coach and Coach Developer with nearly two decades of experience within in the male and female game including academies/colleges/university’s. Currently leading the coaching programme with LFTC as the Head of Coaching having been one of the original co-founders of the organisation. In doing so my role consisted of developing and implementing the philosophy of the club to develop sound technicians of the game with an excellent self-awareness aiding them to be highly skilled decision makers.

Qasim

As a UEFA C Licensed coach, I bring a wealth of grassroots experience, having worked with community-driven football programs such as We Make Footballers Watford and the Hive Foundation at Barnet FC. My coaching philosophy is centered around team cohesion, fostering an inclusive and competitive atmosphere where players are encouraged to work together, express creativity, and grow both on and off the pitch. I emphasize clear communication, tactical awareness, and the importance of each player's role within the team. My approach is to build resilient, adaptable teams that can thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and mutual respect.

Ross

My coaching background lies primarily through my personal training experience, with seven years under my belt. 1-1 and group exercise is my day to day. Coming into my fourth year of owning my own personal training business. Strength and conditioning is my skill set, which kickstart as a result of my playing experience in high-level amateur rugby, this began my passion for exercise and fitness and athletic development.
